Rei is the oldest daughter of Ren and Nikki. She is very arrogant and selfish. During the final battle on New Vulcan, her bravado gets her caught when she reveals the real motives of the Aquarians. At first the plan was to keep Emelia in the future to raise her under Aquarian influence, due to her new lifestyle, the future Emelia (who was holding the forcefeild guarding the Sisterhood's palace) would disappear. But soon after a new plan was implemented.
Why not just kill Emelia's past self?
Revealing this to the team too quickly costs Rei dearly. Nikki kills her.
